Racing or cruising?

Supercar owners film themselves racing on S'pore road

Stomp | Sunday, Jun 22, 2014
SINGAPORE - A video showing a group of supercar owners racing on a road in Singapore has been uploaded online.
The footage was shot from the passenger seat of a car zooming along at high speed.
At least two other luxury cars are also seen racing on the same road. One of the drivers also waves at the camera.
The video is one of many uploaded showing supercars travelling on Singapore roads.
In many of the videos uploaded by the same user, drivers are seen travelling at high speed.

Racing or cruising?

What if it's Nissan Latio, KIA Picanto, Honda Fit doing the same thing?

"Bread and Butter car owners filming themselves racing on S'pore road."

As how it always ends up, I'll be the first to say here, STOMP please close down! ^_^

The person who posted the video on STOMP is damn jealous that he can't afford the supercars so must try to get the owners into trouble.

First of all, I have no idea how the authorities are gonna do shit. There is no exact speed captured in the video and no number plates and faces which are visible.

Second, the person who filmed the video is clearly a Moron as he should know that posting such videos online in Singapore is gonna attract a lot of unwanted attention. Unless this is his goal.

Third, now that this video has caught the attention of people thanks to that Moron, be prepared for more cops around that stretch of road.

Cruising... If you have a supercar, you'll probably also be doing the same thing in the middle of the night.

Racing or Cruising - relative perception lah.

Yup.. But speeding is not relative perception.. Over speed limit is consider speeding liaoz..I think +10kmph still ok rite? Anything more will receive love letter from TP. Stay safe bros. It's the thrill that kills. Pls remember to leave a will.

OT : I sometimes find that Stomp is like an alternative, somewhat guised version of encouraging a 'police state' culture. Maybe I'm thinking too much again...
