The correction love action is to help the son break his drug addiction. If you hang out with gay men, do you really think the gayness will spread to you and you will become gay? Its not contagious lah. No parent stops their daughter coming near me, screaming - don't go near uncle james, don't go near uncle james if you get too close to him, you will become a lesbian. If you are not gay and no matter how close you stand to a gay man you will not become gay. You have as much chance of becoming gay as standing next to a billionaire and his money flying from his pocket into yours.
