basket why only ask me [mad][mad]

actually i was looking for those too and saw it selling in a few places, even at petrol koisk.

but then i end up getting a Nokia window phone for my mum (70+, not too old to use a touch screen and i set up the menu in chinese for her :D ) and sign up a singtel redpac plan for her (without data). I used to have pre-paid for her but the top up part was quite lechey.

Many shops got sell.

Jurong East along the row of Eu Yang Send/Maybank got one Singtel reseller got many different models.

If old people hardly use, can consider SingTel 'cos any unused balance can be carried forward by paying 99 cents extending it for another 60 days; don't need to top up with new credit$.

Concur Lumia 525 good and easy enough for old people. Can pinch shortcuts for different contacts to main screen for them if looking up at People Hub is a chore to them.

Hypersonic

Can consider Redmi. The font size can change to large. I ordered one for my dad, it's on the way.

Turbocharged

I registered a sub-line for my kid tag to my principal starhub line.

per month paying only S$5 for the caller ID

I still think that $5 a month is a large sum of money for caller ID.

This should be a standard issue w/o recurring charge.

same for auto-roaming subscribtion.

I think is S$8 or S$9 per month for starhub.

Woah, this is obscene sum of $$$ in total of the subscription base. Imagine doing nothing but get paid every month.

Actually, SingTel has pay-as-you-roam service. No need pay monthly fees, but pay slightly more when you make roaming calls.

Sorry, to divert a bit :(

Normally, when do you buy a hp for your kid? I mean at what age, say 10yo or even younger?

reason asking, cos eldest asking me to buy a phone, and he is just in P2 this year.

Not too sure the need for it though

P2 needs mobile for what?

He will be in school and after scool, most likely student care centre....

Anything, can still call via school / student care.

I think they just want to play games and FB. Lol....
