Why don't have 95.4 and 94.6?

94.6 is that Malaysia channel "Lite & Easy" ? The frequency sometimes quite bad one....

It was CLass 95... and then 90.5 as I got older [lipsrsealed]

But recently I got used to Kiss 92 as the kids like the newer songs and I find it not too bad actually .Perhaps I'm getting younger

so far in MY and SG no issue....

In MY it depends on the area - NSH and major cities no issue. But those small towns, and East Coast areas cannot get!

But in SG, sometimes it is clear, sometimes not. Depends on area.... or perhaps my car antenna spoil already! [laugh]

Umm you guys do realise that radio stations in Malaysia transmit under different frequencies in different areas right?

Hitz FM is 97.6 in JB but 92.9 in KL etc

Lite FM is 94.6 in JB but 105.7 up in KL.

Class95 - Joe Augustin and glenn ong in morning.

Listen to them most of the time.

Kiss92 on weekends esp when class95 is having those R&B weekends.

Sometimes listen to 88.3 or power 98 if i want to listen to mandarin or slightly more rock/pop rock songs.

on a sidenote, class95 extends quite far out on NSH. You can hear it for most of the johor portion.

90.5 most of the time.

Tune in to 92.4 on thursday evenings for classic jazz [:)]

92.4 for me most of the time except for Andrew in the morning who turns me right off with his wrong wrong wrong accents.

And he's far too pretentious. Too much like his acting role in that 'comedy'.

Classic jazz in the evenings is great.

I know. But just didn't bother to scan the frequency.

Once cannot receive clearly, I turn on my CD player instead. [laugh]

I remember the early 2000s when there is an independent radio station called "WKRZ" which plays main techno styled music all round. I really love to listen to the station while drive as I gets me pumped up and alert.

Too bad is was defunct in the late 2000s and the frequency bought over by SPH. Now the music is totally different. I forget the frequency number liao.

The closest station to mimick "WKRZ" is Lush 995. But still misses the good old days of independent stations...

Singapore's radio station which plays oldies (90.5, 95 and 92) in my opinion is not to my liking.

Gold90.5fm - songs are too old. usually my parents generation's in age group 50s to 60s.

class95 - used to be good back in the days, now it's just a contemporary radio station playing a mix of current chart toppers and favourite oldies.

Kiss92 - I believe to be class95's challenger, same as above. Playing a mix of current favorites and oldies.

If you're age 30s to 40s, none of the above stations are to our likings. I'm currently listening to 94.6fm. Good music from the 80s to 90s - growing up years. But always disconnected when travelling under CTE tunnel or MCE.
