I cannot post in General Discussions, so here goes:

Last week I filled up at SPC Upp East Coast and I noticed that the dispensed quantity is less than calculated (see attachment). Here's what I mean:

Qty dispensed (as stated on receipt) 18.017 litres

Amount paid $41.08 divided by price of fuel $2.23 = 18.42 litres

Why don't you work backwards and see if any of the figures you're working with if wrong?

A visit to spc website will clear up your confusion.

Now it looks like a self pwn thread.

If so convinced that you're right, why don't you have balls to post with your actual nick?

Gosh, now only realised its an old thread...

Ha ha ha..... a good lesson, especially for me....better check and check if want to post, don't let the (wrong) sense of self righteousness outweigh common sense.

Amazing.. I didn't know there really exists people who will manually calculate if they get the correct amount of fuel. They must be really wealthy individuals with such in-depth level of financial scrutiny.

As long as its truly an honest mistake by TS, lets move on lah.

Though I must say that I eventually chose to stay on with Caltex as SPC is owned by PetroChina.

$41.08 / $2.28 = 18.017L ma.

Don't think SPC want to cheat you of 0.4L of petrol lah.

I also doubt SPC so stupid if wan to cheat wil print on receipt n make it so easy for pple to check n find out.

If ty cheat better to adjust the pump to just pump less than what is stated so nobody wil know. Hahaha.

I give the China company a bit more credit than that lah.
