This RSAF engineer knows how to have fun at work
04/09/2014 Thu in Australia by Rebecca Lewis
This guy knows how to have a good time on the job.
A video of aircraft engineer ME1 Tan Wen Kai, of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) has gone viral, thanks to his break-dance moves performed while marshalling in a plane on the tarmac in Australia.
But his slick moves aren’t just impulsive dancing – it’s an actual form of marshalling sanctioned by the Air Force.
Yep, the cartwheels, backflips and flared windmills are all part of what the Air Force calls “creative marshalling” – a unique way of communication between the ground crew and the pilot to launch the aircraft or guide it to the correct parking position.
“Creative marshalling is a tradition for many fighter squadrons and is deliberately scheduled into long exercises and during competitions to boost the morale of both the air and ground crew,” the RSAF wrote on its Facebook page.
“Due planning and supervision are given to ensure that the creative marshalling is operationally safe.”
Pretty neat!

Nothing like a bit of fun @ work. Fine with it as along as he stays away from the inlet hazard zone.
