Goodyear Assurance TripleMax

I just installed Threesome Triplemax on my existing car as the last owner has 4 of them installed.

Since the front 2 were botak, might as well give it a try as it's cheap.

Noise Level is much lower then KU31, almost the same as PS3 (but if you ask me which is louder, I cannot tell).

Dry Grip & dry grip: PS3, TM/KU.

Wet Grip: PS3, TM/KU.

Summary, if one can stand the noise but dont have the extra budget, go for ku31.

But there are reviews that Ku31 has high FC and TM might just pays itself over the petrol cost.

Overall, TM might be a better choice over Ku31.

Personal choice, will not mind to pay more for PS3 but didn't regret having TM on.

I broke the limits of the 800km old tyres.

reviews,

For average drivers, ok to very good side.

For faster then average driver, not that ok.

Since Assurance Triplemax uses DuPont Kevlar®, does this helps to prevent puncture by nails or screws? Any user of Assurance Triplemax encountered tyre puncture?

I feel the rolling resistance of Triplemax is pretty low. I feel that i am braking more and earlier. When i let go of gas pedal, most time i still can close up on the cars in front. Not quite used to it.

Anyone has the same experience? How do you like it?

I got mine from tyrepac for abt $446 including installation. Note that the tyres I got was parallel import by Tyrepac.

Frankly speaking, this is a tyre I wouldn't get again. Wet grip is poor, cornering and carpark turns screech easily

Hi Bros.

Any latest feedback on GY Assurance Triplemax after these months of usage?

Tks.

used this tyre 1 and half year 25k km, fuel saving is excellent around 13km/L at 60% urban driving condition,

but noise is very high, especially in poor sound insulation car,

other than that, no further comments, cannot tell wet/dry grip level because never fierce driving

For triplemax 1, may i know if these tyres are still quiet after run in?

Does it maintain its quietness from 20k to 40k?

Any advise appreciated!

TIA!
