Just got my Powerall, it comes with car AC adapter and wall plug adapter (DC), i thought it can only be charged using AC, so can i use my wall plug to charge safely? Just wanna make sure.

Yes, you can use on AC. I charged mine all the time on AC.

However, do check the unit have the label printed INPUT: 100~240AC.

wall plug should be AC instead. does the adapter state something like 100-240V 50-60Hz for input?

i read that it is not advisable to disconnect the battery when the engine is running. a battery functions as a voltage stabilizer. think most of us agree on this.

so is it safe to disconnect the battery and start the engine using the jumpstart kit in order to test its capability?

one thing.. once u disconnect, all the preset settings would be gone right?

the other time AA replaced battery for me the guy actually connected it up to another one so there will be a constant flow of electricity to the car.

Here is a simple memory saver using 9volt alkaline battery

radio settings or ecu settings?

dont think ecu setting can be erased that easily.

Only European vehicles ( & some top end Japanese cars ), the radio, door lock setting and ECU collected data will be erase once you disconnected the battery.

For Bread and Butter Asian cars normally the radio and clock settings will go .

Latest memory saver for European cars , the unit is plug directly into the OBD2 16pins socket.

curious to know how often jump start your car.

mostly around 18months or below your cold start

will always give you a symptom, this is the time

to change the battery. by then you hv one

and wtd to jump start, bty is flat then how? usually

we are not prepare and bty is always not at

full charge or standby. Full charge for standby

also will be drained off eventually.

think more useful for those who go frequently for road trips, especially when you are off the beaten tracks and birds don't lay eggs areas.
