Car A with mileage 80,000km or

Car B with mileage 130,000km?

 

Most would choose Car A for the apparent lower mileage, but it is fast approaching 100,000km mark which might be a major timeline for parts replacement soon.

 

Or is it wiser to choose Car B? Hopefully most parts which need to be replaced, have been replaced.

Choose one that has been serviced by agent. If not , service by workshop but have all the service records.

4. Battery in Jan 2018

5. 4 x New Continental CC6 185/60-15 in Jan 2018

6. Engine mounting in Feb 2018

7. Front wheel bearing in Feb 2018

8. Front ceramic brake pad in Jun 2018

9. 4 x Ignition coil and plugs in Jun 2018

10. Brake booster in Aug 2018

 

Note:

- The above dates are approximate as receipts are in car when I am typing this at home.

- Lube service done with Motul 8800 fully synthetic oil.

 

Miscellaneous:

1. Installed Kenwood DDX416 2-DIN player

2. Installed reverse camera

3. Front arm rest

4. Shark fin antennae

5. Alpine speakers (I might keep these)

6. VKool tinting all round came with car when purchase,

7. New VKool on front screen as I don't like the black stripe previous owner installed.

 

Things to note:

1. Right wing mirror folding mechanism is broken.

2. Front VKool may not pass vehicle inspection 'cos I had no intention to renew COE when I had that piece replaced.

3. I received only one remote key fob when I took over the car.

4. I did purchase a new, blank key fob from Taobao but didn't get it programmed / cut.

5. Fuel economy is 8 liter/100km or 12.5km/liter city drive. Go Malaysia highway drive gets 7 liter/100km or 14.3km/liter.

 

 

The car is in tip top condition as I needed it to be sound and reliable for traveling long haul.

My schedule at work for next few months will be 70% flying around, hence decision to let it go.

Good candidate for COE renewal.

 

Asking $13,350.
