Turbocharged

Last month, there were 3 units of Audi A6 going at about 10k depre and I viewed 2 of them. One even had only 1 owner for first 8+yrs. Guess some buyers in the market realised it's a bit weird to buy a Toyota/Honda at the same price as an Audi/BMW, repair costs notwithstanding.

Totally makes sense to buy a newer car at 9k depre or under eh?

Some car buyers are badge snobs, so they prefer something branded, and don't mind if its nearing 10 yrs, rather than a brand new bread and butter, Jap or Korean car  [rolleyes]

my dad had an opel. when it was getting old like 6 yrs, every 1-2 months go workshop. few hundreds to over a k...no joke.

pretty horrible experience.

I had bad experience with Opel, Renault, Peugeot and VW.

Swear off conti cars.

that's damn good offers from dealer.

If 850/month for 9+ year car, it is also true that someone can get a much higher end car at the same depreciation.

This website fake one lah.

Offered my friend 21k on website quote.

Guy went down to see says can only do 19.5k.

They only offered you high because they want to be the first to view the car.

Dont believe?

Contact the dealer and ask him to view.

I'll buy you coffee if he offers the same price as quoted.

such platforms are normally bidded by dealers who would bid based on a perfect car. they will deduct $$ when they see the car. You should just try to get the same price from direct buyers which would already be a good deal.

If you wana scrap it, just google carousel for scrap dealer and sell to them. Think they will pay you the scrap value amount which should be $4231. If you wana renew than better check the condition of the car cos Subaru parts tend to be higher price.
