Volkswagen Fuel Flaps Not Opening

Hi guys,

 

any of you VW owners have this problem?

 

i need to lock/ unlock whilst singing a song to unlock the fuel flap

 

went down VW, need $120 to fix

 

anyway the fuel flap can be manually opened?

if manually open, you will permanently damage the lock,

is your car under warranty? if not go outside WS,

sorry but i dont get you..

 

you sang to your fuel flap to get it to open??..

 

like ali baba movie... :D "open sesame" ...

Mine just press the fuel flap to open then press again to close.

 

U mean like those soft-close mechanism we used in cabinet/drawer doors ?? [:/]

Aiyah no need to waste $120 to fix this lah.

best dont let pump attendant touch

some really try to "giao" your door till spoil

 

those press to release they try pry it

those must die die open in car they keep press and press and press

those flap open and need key open cap they try giao the damn cap

i am surprised VW dun allow a manual over ride to open the fuel flap. at least some form of fail safe to open, if not no petrol how? call tow truck meh

If in such a case, try opening and closing with the remote several times while de-pressing the flap to open, it happened to mine as well.

PS it might take quite some time before it finally opens, when it does, try spraying some lithium lubricant to help in future.
