They go by Plate, when change new bus, plate go together with owner, unless owner sold them away. Tiagong the plate price go with the coe price or more. The fare price raise are due to Insurance premium. the premium ard $3,000 per annum. for a normal 20-30 seaters bus. No coe but still need to buy the plate.(see my previous post). Coe and vehicle value are just part of the cost/expenses and pretty much of a fixed cost based on determined usage life, there are more underlying cost that affect the fare, variable cost like fuel, admin overhead etc can also lead to increase in cost.
