Stomper Kamal is appealing for witnesses to an accident that took place near River Valley Road on Jan 23, at about 2pm.

 

According to him, a taxi hit his car's left rear door when it was making a U-turn.

 

Said the Stomper:

 

"I was driving from St Thomas Walk and turning right into River Valley Road, just before Jalan Kuala.

 

A TransCab taxi made a U-turn from the bus bay from my left and hit my left rear door.

 

"I really need an eyewitness for this case. Thank you."

Stomper Tan is appealing for witnesses to an accident that took place at Amber Road at 3pm today (Feb 1).

 

The Stomper's car door was damaged after getting hit by a lorry.

 

In an email to Stomp, the Stomper wrote:

 

"The right door of my Toyota Altis was hit by a lorry this afternoon (Feb 1) at the Amber Road roundabout at about 3pm.

 

"I am appealing for any witnesses who saw the accident, as well as the lorry driver to step out to resolve this incident.

 

"Thank you for your help."

If you stop at the traffic lights and the car behind you rams you,

 

the force will just push your car into pedestrains crossing in front.

 

If stop for more than 5 seconds should put on handbrake.

This morning got one silver civic stopped in the middle of lane 2 AYE towards MCE after clementi ave 2 causing massive jam.

 

Took a peep and saw a woman sitting inside wif no damages. Suspect must be ran out of petrol. Knn waste so many pple time trapped on the expressway

Maybe Volvo will come up with another safety idea:- if sensor detects driver not in driver seat, auto handbrake will be activated??!!
