Industrial space turned retail, might be a goldmine if they played it right.

Got Redmart already. Their investors financial backing is quite strong.

Think Big Box own the whole building. No need to pay rent. It's a one time capex.

Membership NTUC how to survive? [laugh]

This membership thing is a joke too ... Went once last week during lunch time.... Not that cheap for the stuff I need (i can get cheaper currently) and just like casino, before I buy already lose $35/$50... Who will go all the way there to buy? Really curious how they survive their weekend...

Not 400 USD per truck la.

The transport company will consolidate the orders just like DHL when we buy from Amazon and they ship it from the US now. As long as your order is below 400 USD, should be GST exempt?

true that everything is messy and chaotic... they are trying to be a 3-in-1 in the west whereby they are a IKEA, Courts and GIANT wannabe like in tampinese.

anyway, i found a good buy for Engine oil... Shell helix ultra 4L 5w-40 going for $56 per bottle (if buy 2, then it will be cheaper at $53)

http://www.shell.com.sg/products-services/on-the-road/consumer-lubricants-tpkg/cars/helix-range.html

the oils are manufacture in Sept 2014 and in Europe... so to me that is a good buy.....

Alot of things apparently cannot ship to SG already, seems the local distributors have started complaining to parent companies and Amazon has cut back on the products which can be shipped to SG. SAD!
