New Spanish restaurant in Malacca called Salud, opposite end of street which the Geographer is on. Open 3 months. Very nice tapas and main courses and quite good value. Not from the corner stall but a few stalls away with perpetually long queue all day long. Worth my 15mins under the sun. I normally won't queue for any food that needs more than 5 mins. Today Beef noodle at tiong bahru food centre. Ironically, the stall name is joo chiat beef noodle. A bit salty to my taste but the beef is very tender n the fragrance strong. Plus, the ever popular Lee Hong Kee half fatty half lean char siew that need no pic or introduction.
