Goldgenie has a limited edition Year of the Goat 24k gold iPhone 6 We have seen some pretty interesting iPhone customizations over the year, but this is one of the more outrageous ones. In anticipation of the Chinese Year of the Goat, Goldgenie has just announced a limited edition Year of the Goat 24k gold iPhone 6. Basically, Goldgenie has taken a standard iPhone 6 and plated it in 24k gold and then laser-engraved the back of it with a hand-painted Chinese symbol of the goat. This phone is limited to just 99 units. Buyers will get all the standard Apple equipment but to make it things a bit special, the phone and accessories will be presented in a specially designed luxurious cherry oak box. Prices will begin at £2637 (S$5326) for the 64GB model. The 128GB model is £2837. Goldgenie is a UK-based company that specializes in customizing smartphones. Apart from the iPhone 6, they can also gold-plate your Samsung, Blackberry and HTC phones. Different finishes are available too, including rose gold and platinum.
