GLB180 under C&C now being offered at 206k. Delivery by Sept/Oct. My colleague just placed order. Final price better than 206k, with no trade-in。

Better news: all new GLBs will come with rear aircon, even though test drive units do not have.

C&C is offering rear aircons for all compact models now at $500++ now, if you have bought the car from them.. Installed in Singapore using original parts though. Seems all the air tubings have already been done so they just need to change the cover. Seems like a good deal this time.

The only catch being that @detached2007 has to pay for the C5 in full, which I estimate it to be at least 80k for this 3 year old car.

The good thing is this C5 on auction as opposed to the new version is the non watered down version of 1.6T which places it firmly in cat B.

Honestly, "cold door" cars are good auction buys because demand is lower but don't expect to get the C5 at a price much lower than market (around 10-20% is ok, not too much less).

Have tried bidding a 308 at 7k depre end last year via DFM, it fell through.

Personally, while the C5 is well priced in the market, but I suspect getting used brings more value in this market as what @Carbon82 said, it's 13k depre throughout the 10 years and if COE falls and @detached2007 decides to sell his car, he will lose even more.

Since there is no preference for Citroens or a new car even, these are some used cars for consideration:

Ford Focuses, NA/Turbo/Turbo (Wagon) (2015,2017,2017)

Elantra, Base (2018)

Sylphy (2018)

If SUV is to your liking:

Ford Kuga (2018)

Auction car at times can be quite abused, must go view the condition of the car carefully.

I went to see before, I believe some are not taken care by the previous owners at all, either no money or maybe lease own car which I dont know, some of those cars can be lack of maintenance, brake pad worn out, badly worn tyres, beaten body conditions etc, messy and dirty interior etc. Of course , there would still be some good condition cars but dont expect low price, I dont know how the dealers could bid at high price, but we are not in the trade, so maybe they even have their own insight info.

If the condition of the car so bad, why would anyone want to bid for the car even the price is low, you still need to spend a huge amount of money to check and change everything.

we are not in the trace to know their trade secret, but some trick are open secret. A dealer can secure the car and do up until like new before they put up for sale. Next you will see a car in sgcarmart, original condition, engine smooth like butter, park under shade, hardly driven, low mileage, owner loss is your gain....
