Never heard of Yan or Jeli ......

Between these last 2, Yan seems better. By the sea in Kedah and closer to Penang.

Jeli is somewhere in the mountains in Kelantan.

2nd place, Kuala Trengganu?  Got to be kidding me.  Only if you like scuba diving and wanted to do that everyday in your retirement years. And make sure you know how to speak Malay.

Kulai not a bad choice.  Used to be far but not anymore with JB expanded so much.

Actually Seremban (3rd on the list)  is also not bad.....middle of KL and Malacca. Best of both different worlds.  Seremban buildings have a different architecture due to its Minangkabau heritage, feel different from other Msia cities..

alternate between going SG and Thai to chop passport [laugh]

btw it seems that when Msia implemented MCO, those under MM2H were not allowed to re-enter Msia if they happened to be overseas at that time.
