actually was thinking to leave the spare tyre at home and put a tyre repair/inflation kit in the boot instead... wonder how many KG's this saves though but guess about 15kg-20kg or more (rim + tyre)?

Someone I know was rear ended in a vios with spare taken out.

From the accident pictures

It became a hatch.

well, from past exp waiting 4 hrs in the cold in uk... , it is better to have the spare tyre, the repair kit can only handle minor repair such as nail etc, if it is a major blow out, only option would be tow truck or tyre replacement truck..

true and can imagine waiting 1-2 hrs under hot sun in Singapore .

isn't the chassis part of the frame behind the rear bumper?

the impact with the Vios sounds serious, or Vios has a big 'crumble zone'.

I was rear ended by a cargo truck on expressway last time .

Only the rear gate portion of my SUV was damaged.

Everything else including brake lights were ok.

Hatch back have reinforced rear. My previous stream was rear ended at around 70kmh. The damage is very slight to the exterior. But there are internal reinforced parts that has to be replaced. I don't know what they are called.

I don't know much about vios. I drive to Malaysia so the spare stays

Hi all, driving an Altis bought in Oct 2015. Wanna ask if anyone is able to connect Samsung Galaxy S7 to the stock HU? I've tried Miracast/MirrorLink, with iAuto installed on my phone, still doesn't work. Anyone has any advice? TIA! :)

What is your speed for good fuel efficiency?

I believe mine is about 80km/h.

Not really sure. I assume it is between 70 - 90.

When I travel along a relatively smooth traffic road @ 70, sometime the car FC can increase by .1

On a relatively smooth traffic local highway, i find it better when it is below 100.

For those not using the other key. You can set to battery saving mode

Press unlock 2x while holding the lock button.

Red color indicator will blink 4x

Cancel by pressing any key when yo u want to use

I usually swap key after every 10k service

If I remember correct, it was mentioned that mirroring can only be done thru cable.

Checked the manual. It say go to wifi select start Miracast

Miracast by definition should be wireless

Mirrorlink otoh uses cables like usb

For non smart entry ok.

For smart entry, just take a picture and saved in on cloud. Eg Google doc
