Protecting paintworks with sealant

i park the car in the open carpark the whole day and expose to the hot sun and rain.

is it avisable to apply a layer of sealant on the brand new car to protect the coating.

would the sealant damage the new car coating

Sealants wont damage clear coat. I recommend collinte 476. A single coat lasted 3 months for me.

Sealants are easier to apply relative to waxes. You want cheap and good, then look at duragloss or autoglym EGP. You want something more, look at zaino.

It should not and instead will protect the paintwork of the car.

 

There are many PPS vendors around these days even as compared to 5 years ago.

 

Do your due diligence and comparison of the various brands and check out some of the feedback in this forum and other car forums.
