Usually look out for Mechatronic and clutch replacements.

Hi Friends,

Recently notice a chip at the edge of my drivers door, not sure its due to rocks hitting or when opening it scraped something. Usually am very careful when opening doors and i make sure not to park too close to walls. See already heart very pain.

I think the scratch went past the paint and clear coat already, like can see the metal. Anyone can give some advice on how to patch?

Regards.

Anyone know where is the cabin air filter for Audi A3 1.4 end 2018 model? I tried to look under glove box but couldn’t find it. It seems my car interior get dusty easily.

Anyone knows whether gearbox oil and MU oil are different? How often should both be changed for the 1.0 FL model?

Engine oil and gear box oil are 2 totally different oils. Think factory recommends 15K mileage for servicing, so just follow what factory says. Anything more is probably peace of mind, but totally unnecessary.

The 1.0tsi have no service requirements as per factory manual, that's what I understand so far. But no one believes oils can last the life time of the car.

Replace it around 40k to 60k should probably be OK. Btw driving the Skoda 1.0tsi octavia

Thanks, yup don’t recall the manual mentioning anything on this. will ask whether PA does it during the next servicing or do it outside otherwise.

U can do the MU oil change outside. A lot of A3 members did at Autokinetics.

I believe the link is for engine oil change. I am referring to the dry clutch and MU oil change which the Service Manual did not mention.

However I ask Skoda Svc they can do the oil change with charges...

My bad! Didn't realise it was MU fluid change... i read somewhere it's around 60k for change - or every 2 service.

Maybe check with VAG?
