You are right - identical engines But it's a disappointment that there isn't even an Audi logo on the A3 engine cover, despite buyers paying a hefty premium for the Audi brand, ie. $26,000 premium over the Seat Ibiza. Bernardongg Clutched July 15, 2019 Share July 15, 2019 (edited) The image shows the engine for my A3 collected last month. Btw, has anyone tried to accelerate without releasing the parking break? I tried to accelerate without releasing the parking break and heard a "clink" sound, the car moved a little but I stopped and went down to check cause i thought I brushed again something. I was in the MSCP so the sound was quite obvious. I know that the parking break will be auto release if you accelerate but didn't expect to hear a sound. Just very wary of the VW DSG 7 sp after a harrowing experience that’s all. Had a Friend who was driving the A7, had to wait for a few months for a spare part.
