Wrong category comparison. Audi is premium, Skoda is budget. Skoda is even cheaper than VW, and VW is already the ang moh B&B brand.

I guess some ppl compare differently

Some compare brand

Some compare price

Some compare size

Some conpare spec.

No right or wrong, see what's more important to u

I continued shopping somemore.

Then saw the skoda VRS, 2.0T against the audi 1.4, along with the trim level, and 30K lower.

I close the book on audi after that.

Good choice! Curious how much you paid for your Audi 1.4?

He close the book on Audi. Meaning he farted on the Asking price for the A4 and went for the Skoda VRS.

The margins the ADs are getting for Audi, BMW & Mercs are ridiculous. It will be much better to get them new from the reputable PIs.

Re margins

You should check how much less is the margin on your common Elantra first

You may be surprised to find that it’s not a lot less..

If you are considering these conti cars wait for sales and some of them are highly specced cos the AD needs to clear stock

Eg the last few c180 cars were a good deal

The A4 was also superb value if you squeezed more than a bare bones model out of them. Great cabin and engine

Just recently got my new ride, Opel insignia grandsport.

I back calculated the OMV, ARF of this ride, and the AD only make 2k out of it.

I bought it at $119,777.

Out of cursorily, has anyone installed blind spot detection on their A3/Q2 after purchase? Understand for some batches, there’s no blind spot detection.

That's quite impossible unless special promo... June cost price is 101k.

From what I recall, it's not that high for Hyundai. Toyota on the other hand has 20k margin on their Altis.

It’s true... I got it at that price.

They might be clearing stock.

I mean your calculation... if June cost price is 101k, you bought at 119k, that is 18k margin, not 2k margin...

$105k is not compelling at all.

they were selling at 106 last month.

But then.... it could be the COE might be moving north hence pricing it forward.

My 2016 a3, the cup holder ring led light is flickering. Does anyone know if such problem is covered by warranty? My 3 yr warranty ending soon, thought of getting it fixed.

Is that the price for the 1.4T? Very nice price... it used to be 120k or so..

It's the 1.0T 3-cyclinder de. Not 1.4T
