Should have but only on the left side.

That's strange because sometime we need to see other side without the tilted mirror function.

The tilted mirror function can be turned off, at least for my Jetta.

Does the A3 comes with tyre pressure monitoring system?

If A3/A4 has TPMS, it should be using the ABS sensor (as I didn't see the sensor on individual tyre).

You have to consider about the maintenance fee affordability. It's not cheap at all. The top 3 maintenance fee are Merc, BMW and Audi among the common vehicles that Singaporeans own. If you are lucky, the bill is 3 digits, most of the time its 4 digits, as the technicians will advise you to change this and that, which is actually not required based on the mileage/condition of the car under 3 years old. However, if you are after 'prestige', this is part of the fee that you have to pay. Take it as 'monthly club subscription'  for a one time maintenance fee per year. (e.g $1200 one off maintenance divided by 12 months)

Hmm. All cars nowadays come with 5 years warranty and servicing. So first 5 years are taken care off. And nowadays the ADs do not change parts just like that, it is on condition based. After the 5 years warranty, you can service/repair your car at specialist ws, some much better, faster and cheaper than AD. Another myth is conti parts are much more expensive. I can't say for others but for merc and bmw parts, if you know where to source from, you will be surprised by the costs of the parts. I won't say they are cheap, I will say they are very reasonable. If you are referring to reliability, that is another topic for another day. : )

These are the experiences I got from my own ownership and immediate family members ownership of merc and bmw over the past 3 decades. And I started off with Jap cars and had korean in-between.

My car is A3 1.4 COD. The warning never come out. Maybe tyre flatten when I was parking the car.

the tpms menu has to be unlocked via vcds. not default in the A3 here.

also it is indirect tpms, meaning it detects a difference in rolling resistance in one of the tires to notify you that one of the tyres is flat.
