New Singapore Police Force car design!

This 'new' police car will begin use only in Aug 15, as reported in media.

If I am not wrong, they are the B&B patrol cars we see at the usual police stations.

Yet, the colour scheme is an improvement will little extra cost to tax payers.

Police Force should really reflect on their action or inaction for the past years.

 

There is little point in spending so much money to improve their image (outside) but do little about what's inside the force.

 

The roads are pretty "congested" in most places so the need to buy expensive high power cars would seem a bit over done. Pretty stickers ain't going to improve the crime rates in Singapore.

 

If we have better road management, better public transport system (connectivity in particular), better social education (personal responsibilities) and better police service to communities (instead of advising not to make it a police report, requesting complaint to take case to civil court even when there is bodily harm, impartial not to prosecute some cars parked along CC (double white line), etc.

 

The public image of our police force really needs improving and these improvements need to come from inside out.

One of the more reliable brands already. Its published everywhere. On par with the japs already. Some websites even ranked them higher than toyota based on percentage of cars sent for repairs.

I cannot understand why the old Hyundai Pony is already history. Now is 2015 and they still think Hyundai unreliable. Don't forget, Korea brand like Kia is the first to offer 5yrs/unlimited mileage warranty. And 10 years engine warranty.
