I am currently using Gecko Coilovers, almost time to replace it.

Consider try other different one.

I remember some bro recommend the Tein Enduropro plus, but can't really find where they got it.

And mention it is quite comfort.

pg 1035/1036 2 bros mentioned cost and workshop for tein. 👍

@Tohto i haven't been looking around much but some Forester drivers prefers the STI springs but i don't know how will you be able to test different suspension setup short of calling a mass forester meetup lol.

STI pink spring is fine but jittery with Tein Endura Pro Plus or Pro.

Go for Swift Spring that does not jitters .

I bought and sold 2 sets of STI pink springs and knows them well.

Cheers.

I just bought a 2017 Forester and I find the ride to be quite bumpy. Is this normal? What can be done to reduce the bumpiness? I was previously driving an MPV.

Thanks in advance!

Normal ... few kakis gave up cos wives cannot take it especially for rear seat passenger .. fxt worse than fna due to stiffer setup.

Hence you read of ARB, Pink Springs, dampers, coilover etc.

I did not give up and perservere to what I consider acceptable but not without some significant $ after trying various ... Tein Endura Pro and Swift Springs recommended.

Include Tein EDFC if you can accept some rear motor moving noises due to open rear boot and more $ ... YMMV as usual due to pass experience, inclination and expectation.

Cheers.

@richard_crl032 Thanks Bro. Strangely when I drove up to Melaka over the weekend, FNA is very stable and the bumps didn't appear so intrusive. Maybe I am getting used to it haha

Hi, good to know ! Will save $ 🥳  All have different bum feel and expectation from past experience .. hence the usual ymmv and yes, fna is a bit more comfy cos not as stiff aka better roadholding as fxt for intended racer boys with 350nm 240bhp 😅

Anyone encounter stiff brake after parking for a few hours?

I did a quick search and it seems like it is due to the brake vacuum leaking.

i think is brake pump or something. If still under warranty get it changed at MI for free. need to park your ride over there overnight.

But many say is not a safety issue. mine was like that for 1 year before i did anything.

@CharlesZhao Hi Charles, this is a known frequent failure including my fxt ... pls call BMS AMK to check if they had stock to fix the valve/sensor as so many affected that they may run out ... vaguely remember at 130. Cheers.
