Can check out these youtube videos. I have went to Komoco to see once. But not really explored thoroughly. But the HK version in the youtube seems to be very similar. Same rim and trim. Except for the center console which I believe Komoco has fitted a touch screen with GPS locally.

Nice video

I didn't know can recline the back seat to one's comfort. That's another plus point to convince my OC.

Having test driven the car. I find the car a bit under powered. Also experience a bit of engine noise at below 60km/hr.

What do you guys think ?

Will locally fitted display means some buttons will not work ?

underpower or not underpower is quite subjective, depends on compare to which one, of course cannot compare to forester XT,

different target of consumers,

it should compare to Vezel, QQ, Forester NA, outlander, Harrier, X-trial etc

I got the coe last bidding but SE said end april for car delivery. I chose milk tea colour.

Milk tea is nice. I believe other country has a colour call white sands. Too bad, Singapore dun have.

Almost all Crossover in SGP are under power maybe minus the Forester GT.

Nevertheless, we buy them for their high seating position and space.

Plus it has the most European look...

Oh.. I do realize through sgcarmart that Tucson now comes equipped with leather steering and 4.2" TFT LCD display.

Any buddies went showroom recently and saw the newly equipped Tucson?

Yes. Looks nice. Except internal still lots of hard plastic. But the color combination is good.

Screen should be bigger than 4.2 for the higher end model.

Anyone compare tucson with forester. Both have similar features with forester missing blind spot monitoring...anything else ?

The forester seems to drive faster. The tucson looks better.

i'm comparing the higher end Tucson and Forester turbo. price quite similar

Tucson

Better FC

nicer interior & exterior, seems more comfortable (personal opinion)

2.0L petrol engine sluggish

comes w GPS

blind spot monitoring

auto dim mirror

handsfree tailgate

Forester XT

turbo. much faster

cvt is smooth. some may not like cvt though

smaller interior

branded speaker

no gps

no auto dim

no blind spot monitoring

scores better for ncap testing

made & assembled in japan

GPS for tucson is fitted locally.

Are you sure the tucson is larger internally ? Forester is a larger car.

Also I think forester has auto dim rear mirror...

What are the freebies hyundai tucson 2015/2016 buyers got? Any free servicing package? Like first 1000km,5000km or 10000km?

I guess the for free servicing, minimum given should be first 3 ( up to 10,000km).

For freebies, you may ask for video camera recorder, window film at least.

On top of this, if you have a car to trade in, bargain for at least $2K more.

Just did a size comparison. Forester wheelbase shorter and width narrower than Tuscon.

Putting aside paper figures, anyone sitting in both would conclude forester is slightly more spacious. Maybe it has got something to do with better all round visibility of forester.

Maybe cos it is longer and taller.

Neutral Newbie

Hi guys, any good advice from tuscon/suv owners here..

Im currently on my 5th yr corolla, intending to upgrade to an suv. Happens to be that currently, tucson is like value for money in terms of acc n features.. shud i wait for coe to drop n trade in my 2011 car later (trade in at lower price) or do it asap.. is it worth it go for it now? How is the car reliability, fc, maintenance etc that can be a plus point for change... dilemma now.
