Wt_know Supersonic June 4, 2015 Share June 4, 2015 (edited) Pang was not involve in the 3 separate chain collisions since he drove off in many occassions, the "culprit" that jam brake and cause chain collision at the back is not charged because the onus lies with behind car that are unable to stop Pang kena sentenced based on he say she say? unless there is solid video cam on Pang action? the video cam come from the Prime mover which is directly behind Pang? prime mover leh ... probably traveling in lane 3 at speed of 60-70kmph nia? prime mover cannot stop fast enough can understand because of the weight but the car behind prime cannot stop at 60-70kmph? Nine vehicles were involved in the accident, which unfolded as three separate chain collisions.Meanwhile, Pang drove off. Eyke Supercharged June 4, 2015 Author Share June 4, 2015 dont understand why the prime mover driver Lim was also jailed. this is the most unusual sentence coz the crime was "unsafe following distance resulting in crash (when front vehicle e-braked)". maybe heavy vehicle drivers are held to a higher standard due to their much higher mass -> inertia. Lim is the lorry driver behind prime mover.Guess he is driving a hugh vehicle, and didn't keep a safe distance from the prime mover. Even though what Pang did was wrong, the fatal accident could have been avoided if Lim had kept a safe distance... Witnesses are enough in this case. The biker who stopped by the road shoulder and the primer mover driver. Their accounts of the incident would tally and enough to nail the b**tard. Lim was the lorry behind the prime mover and was sentenced because he swerved into another lane dangerously while jam brake causing the life of another road user. this showed that Lim did not follow a safety distance or keep a good lookout on his surroundings..
