Will be back in Singapore end of this month for just 2 weeks with my family. Need an apartment for short term stay that can accommodate 4 people. Anybody has affordable apartment to let? Or where to go to find one?

Search those online website like propertyguru.

Legally - minimum rental period is 6 months. Propertyguru ads can only be posted by agents so you will definitely not find 2 weeks rental flats there.

Try airbnb - https://www.airbnb.com.sg

Take note that it is technically illegal.

Tried a few agents... all not interested cos no commission to earn for such short term. :TT_TT:

you may want to consider Regency House........along Penang Road,

.....bedrooms, living/dining hall, not too certain about the kitchen but I think there is also one.

sometimes my Dutch principal engineers visiting SG in groups of 3 to 4 pax are putting up over there.

The website is reliable. Airbnb is worth 10-20bil USD valuation....

But they are just the middlemen so you should be worried about whether the owner is reliable or not. Whether or not the owner is reliable, I think no one can make promises but since you are local , it shouldn't be that easy to cheat you. (or they will at least think twice or three times before doing so)

You thinking of staying at YMCA in Singapore?

When I was in HK I stayed at the YWCA at Mong Kok.

As a lesbian I felt very comfortable there with all the

other women and the best thing no men to bother me.

I even thought of staying at the Boy Scouts hotel in HK

but the idea of staying with little boys did not appeal to

me when I could be sleeping with so many women at the

YWCA. People may think I am joking but its really true.

:D

Illegal more for the owner rather than the rentee.

Near my place got a new hotel. Next to Ikea Alexandra called Park Hotel.

Newly open got special rates. 4 star hotel btw. Nearest MRT is Queenstown but 15-20mins walk. Or you can take the Alexandra hospital shuttle bus. LoL...

Thanks. Just checked it... S$5200 for 2 weeks :TT_TT: :TT_TT:
