Beware of scammers

Recommended Posts

There is a new twist. Scammers now pretend to be "Job recruiter" and try to steal your identity.

Easier to ask them to send you a email with the JD and you call back a number to them.

Job seeker should not include NRIC and full address in their resume when they send it to those job recruiter. Anyway i also find such information not critical in job application.

Why you even want to try to type the website and search? Lucky the company pc security blocked it. Imagine if it never blocked, then information may get leak out from your company computer and or even to server. Edited by Yewheng

"Tea selling" scammers have been going on for years, if not a decade, in China. Many XMM wants to make friends with you over WeChat (domestic and overseas), WhatsApp (overseas), chat for a few weeks then get you to buy tea to help their grandfather's or grandmother's surgery.
