Hmm seems like only external visual changed so I guess price wise would not differ by alot as compared to the current one. So better to wait and get the New Attrage? The current Attrage looks very old school and outdated. Old Attrage indeed :x
Ceecookie 5th Gear November 19, 2019 Share November 19, 2019 (edited) Seems like the same ancient 1.2l engine circa 2003 may be carried over unchanged. Tsk Tsk Edited November 19, 2019 by Ceecookie

ferrytales 4th Gear November 20, 2019 Share November 20, 2019 But still the same car with a crappy powerless engine and drive train. Good point A to point B car in sg regardless for the price.

Makes no sense to increase the engine size and move out of this segment to compete with other 1.3 or 1.5l cars. What they did was gave the car and updated look to be aligned to their current Mistubishi design similar to Kia's Tiger Lip for their entire range. By the way, fascinated to learn that the new model will come with auto-dimming rear view mirror. 🙂

But I prefer all stock and no mods. The new design would probably appeal to those youngers who can't afford a sports variant but appreciate that their car looks like one even if don't perform likewise! 🙂

It's a no brainer. Accent is a direct competitor with attrage I believe since the pricing is really close too, engine is better and more refined.

Actually I shortlisted previously to the Accent, Note and Attrage. The Accent has some good points like better comfort, more premium but my top requirements was lowest cost and FC. The Accent was about $4K - $5K more, too much for someone as price-sensitive as me. As for FC, the Accent's 14km/l vs Attrage 20km/l which means the latter wins. I have 4 colleagues at the same workplace and living near each other. One drove an Accent while the other 3 drove Attrages. The Accent reported 11-12km/l while the Attrages reported average of about 18-19km/l. Hence based on my criteria, the Attrage won the "tender" . It helped that C&C offered 5 year free servicing too. 🙂
