my neighbor put two more at the sides. total 6 camera. super KS. .. i ask him how about putting one on top face the sky and one at the bottom face the road. then you will know if ppl throw thing down on your car and construction road damage your car carriage or not

By the time something hits the roof or the undercarriage, it will be too late for the driver and/or the passengers inside the vehicle. Let alone the cams.

do u know why workshops recommend IROAD?  omg. only retail price is cheaper than black vue n thinkware although it has too many faulty cameras.  but, u know? the retail prices are similar to black vue n thinkware.

V7 too many blur cameras, cnt work the motion detection almost at all(test it by urself. surely not working). make flat battery  a lot of times.  wifi dongle faulty(one hours constant using and get faulty)

 

 v9 too many interference( after installing, cnt work many auto controller function- opening door etc most car functions) , too hot due to cheap china components ( too hot means > after using few months then hight possibility to get faulty camera. cnt believe me? then try to touch the camera. ridiculously hot) . wifi dongle faulty(same product with v7)

6) Wider angle than V9

 

At least I have some options to look at when I were to change a new camera in the future.

how does he stick the cameras to the sides? at the window? what if someone unwind the windows? 

 

6 cameras - wouldn't that take a lot of power? his battery wouldn't last 12 hours?

I didnt belive innitially. But, all my friens (workshop mechanics complain but, you know why? We dont care customers compain we care our margin) > i dont sell iroad anymore since fu@ bad customer service !!!!

I have been using V9 for 3 weeks. No experience with V7. Prior to buying V9, I wrote in through their website asking about V7 motion detect problem and whether V9 will have the same problem. The friendly Korean customer support replied as follows:

 

"V7 and T8 have sensitive detection sensors in there, which detect even small motions and light. We usually recommend customers to adjust the setting of sensitivity low and most of cases have been fine. V9 is the latest model which was considered some advises from consumers. So, It will be fine for V9 on this matter. "

 

So, please try changing the sensitivity setting to low if you are V7 users. I also read a lot forum users said a fix will be released bla bla bla .. not sure if there will ever be if it is a hardware design fault or if they want to promote newer model.

 

V9 confirmed don't have the problem. 

The motion detect of V7 does not work at all. V9 has a lot of heating problem. Wifi dongle is even worse. Touch after using those cameraas. Too hot. Really too many probelms in V7 , V9.

As far as my selling expriences, thinkware is quite nice and black vue is also nice.

Sounds strange but, chinese products also are not bad. IROAD is similar chinese quality.

So, if you can afford to buy those think ware or black vue is fine, and you dont wanna pay a lot then buy cheap chinese one and change every year. It is also practical. Iroad doesnt last for a long time especialy front camera heat, wifi dongle melting, sd card faulty.

I have been using V7 since 2014 Sitex, and V9 since 2015 ITShow... So far no issue and even there is once I can't connect to my phone, was advised by IRoad immediately without any issue. So for me, it's iRoad all the way. Have not use Thinkware or Blackvue, so can't comment but I think all of us iRoad users were kept away from using them are their pricing... Super expensive!
