i dun noe. from what i see in the show room it should match ur car color...

Any bros here still waiting to get White Elantra S?

I booked in Aug and still no news about the car from SE.

According to my SE, itâll take total of 3 weeks or more from the shipment day to the Collection of the car.

since you guys talking about EO,

for mine, I would require to pump petrol every 6-7 days..  kinda drinker..

probably because of the default mineral oil, i'm already exceeding more than 1k mileage and upcoming appointment is on the 6th

still trying to get used to an Auto..

the pick up is slow and sluggish.. unlike a manual..

braking also different, good thing is i can hold my wife's hand while the other, on the steering.

stock sound system is good, thinking of adding a satellite speaker as mine is kinda bare as there's no tweeter.

thats my 11 days experience with this car  [:p]

I'm also still trying to get used to an Auto after Manual for so long.

The only difference is I did not hold my wife's hand. [laugh]

So u installed those stuffs ie cruise control, reverse cam etc etc?

yeah..

i nearly had a nearmiss few days back due to auto sluggish pick up..

since then, i decide to wait before turning right..

nope, not yet..

shipment got delayed due to the typhoon..

this saturday, probably will start doing sunshade, installation of speaker on door and maybe underseat woofer?

I find the pick up quite decent ... maybe u need the ECU to get use to your acceleration pattern? Only gripe is when going up slope when you need to step harder.

For upslopes, don't step at the start of the slope. Move a bit up first before you step. Somehow with this, the car has more power to push ahead then when compared to stepping right at the start.

Bro, who is ur se?

Chinese young chap.

The frustrating part is that he never update me regarding the shipment delay or the revised timeline.

I am the one who needs to initiate the queries.

I looked through all the credit card offers and finally concluded that they're all about the same... plus many with very high 'discount' rates are partial cashback or points accumulation... in terms of outright discount on the pump price I think Esso with the Esso Mastercard with the SMILES card gives the best straight out discount...

For the UOB redemption - is there a limit to how many UOB$ you can redeem... I ask cos you say you pump only $30 each time... seems that that's the sweet spot for this scheme where you get 50% off... it's bit troublesome to keep topping up only $30 cos my tank is 70 L... so it seems there's some sort of limitation here... the obvious one being how many UOB$ you can accumulate in 1 week...

Lol it’s better to save your uni$ for miles to travel

For recent bros and sis who collected the car, do give your feedback on the 50km/h engine brake..

Still gathering feedback. Lol :)

Thanks..

Yeah have the engine braking, but not significant to me.
