Went in at 1.15pm collected keys at 5.15pm. Quite long.

 

Updated HU firmware but otw home, my Google maps dropped out twice, had to exit navigation and press location again. Will monitor and update here.

 

Not sure whether placebo effect but the pick up seems slightly better.

I have found the solution with the help of my SE. If the AC Temp indicator is not within the MAX AC solid blue bar zone, the heater will be activated and there will be warm air, even though you may activate just the fan blower without the AC.

So you can only turn the knob 2 "click" to the right from MAX AC, turn any further to the right will activate the heater though still within the blue zone.

Basically these days, the temperature control in aircon are done by mixing hot air heated by the engine area and cold air from the AC compressor. So you'll get hot air anyway... gone are the days where the aircon only comes with the cooling element but no heating element. This mixture is what allows the more precise temperature control with all that digital readouts in the so-called climate control panel...

The best part is the SE will tell you dealers don play COE because they are here to sell cars. Someone with some knowledge and some time need to do an analysis on dealers make more money from selling cars or playing COE.

An update about Carplay: The dropout from google maps took place again today. Noticed it happened when I took a different route from the suggested one. So it could be a app setting issue rather than a HU firmware issue.

Just got my car loan agreement from Maybank recently. The 1st installment free is actually 1st installment payment delayed by a month. Not free. Hahaha. What a tactic from KMC.

I'm having a FC of around 10.5km/L as shown in the display. Yesterday I pump petrol from half tank to full tank, afterwards, my FC become 15+km/L. At one point, it even go up to as high as 17km/L. Is this normal? Is the FC in the display accurate? Anyone has similar experience? Of course I'm happy if the FC becomes better.

Coe drop doesn't mean price will adjust.

They just price 14k to 15k lower than altis can sell already since altis is selling $89988 for their standard aka s model.lol....

I collected car on 8th October. The first loan installment will only due by 9th Nov. total 84 months. Final month will be 9oct 2025. So it’s just a delay of first month payment.
