it will all go thru the fusebox for sure.......never direct to battery...

it will either be fuse that remains powered or not when the car is shutdown completely....

Did u get any discount for opting out the car cam? My SE said will pass me the camera in the box if I don’t wana install. No change to car price. Hahaha.

Got my COE also on 1st bidding, 8 Nov. Took the 6 bids NG package.

My X9 is bought with trade in promo, should be around 300+

How much?

I do not have backup battery for the cam. But I have parking mode, regret nvr spend more to get the spare battery cos heard that without spare battery, main battery might spoil faster.

300+ is a good deal. Usually if your cam has parking mode, better to have the spare battery connected.

Yep. They do have the right to reject such warranty claim. By the way, your SE is not scaring you. Its very true.

Coz SE mentioned anything related to electrical stuff might void warranty if there's a relating claim.

Just go ahead with parking mode recording.

instead of changing battery every 2 years, u probably have to change every 1 to 1.5 years.

heard a few cases of hit and run and nothing can be done if your car cam is wired in a way  only record when the engine start.
