Tong Lee wee. Went to a few and was told our HU for basic trim cannot be done. But tong Lee wee manage to do it. Price at $160 with installation.

 

The boss is Nancy. But do a check on prices before you commit. Some of the prices with labour can be cut throat.

So, they also programme the buzzer into the same car key unit? How much?

I have not drive into Msia yet, wish I have the courage to drive there n install all those stuffs

I had checked my fuse.  it is okies. 

is the connector problem. 

u r right bro. they  claimed its the fuse blown for cigarette lighter port n caused by a plug which i used it to charge mobile. 

 

for the car cam, they claimed its wire connection n now its working well so far. 

 

i didnt go back to KM after 3rd Servicing at 20,000km.

just change fuse.

 

they said no stock n use my spare fuse. didnt know i have a spare fuse. 

 

tried n it working now.

 

will not use the 3rd party charger plug. only use it for vacuum cleaner. 

 

no doubt jb change is cheaper but must know where to make sure they r good. faulty wiring job can be risky.

Now can only use the car key remote unit to operate and it won't function if the engine is on (mine is basic trim).

So troublesome, if I just need to drop off to take out stuffs without switching off the engine.

Need to make another trip there and also the time wasted, which is not near my home.

Hi Patz. Is your camera integrated to the boot handle? Do u know if they route a new camera cable to the HU and brake light? How long do they take to install? Komoco quoted me $280.

Car collected same day. I forgot to ask about boot lever when I collect n they didn't mention. So far, seems to be good.

Greetings Conan, sorry for the late reply. They install right in the middle of the boot handle . How they route the cable I’m not very sure as when I went down for installation, is raining thus didn’t really capture how they do it. Took them about an hr to fix. Charge $160. I believe KMC charge you $280, they will refer you to Tong Lee wee. As TWL is the workshop that help KMC install accessories. So might as well go straight to them rather than get chopped by KMC.

yes. long wait. must book appointment early. fastest slot is probably 10 days later. u can walk in but no promise. 

 

normally i wait at lounge and do work on laptop with wifi n free coffee, tea n water though i didnt  go back to KM after my 10,000km Servicing.

with record high sale... i can see service to be busy for the next 1 yr or 2. i always take leave to service my car on weekdays... this time it took me longer... almost 6 hours as i ask them to double check my steering.

Hi Everyone,

 

I am driving a 2018 elantra basic recently the Eco display on the RPM meter just disappear and the Sport display appear. I did not do anything and these changes just happen. The next day the Sport display also disappear.

Can anyone advise how can I get back to the Eco mode.
