I've come to the conclusion ppl just like to bash VW. Or be with the 'in' crowd, Bash what everyone else is bashing without personal experience. You don't see ppl bashing Mercs with the revelation of this new article?

I can understand if the China assembled VW has China parts.

But for a German assembled VW to have China parts?

What other parts in a German assembled VW contains China made parts?

Engine? Gearbox? Interior plastics?

China is the largest industrial output.

Doesn't matter if it is assembled in German, UK, Sweden or where ever.

The parts can always come from C H I N A.

One of my reservist mate is working in automotive industry and he told me some 60% of parts in say a Mazda 6 are from China (this is just an example I can recall now, since he shared it with me >15 years ago).

And even Rolls Royce, the most luxurious brand in automotive world, use parts from China as well.
