This works for me.

Bath.

Dress comfortably warm but not too hot till sweating.

Aircon on or off depends on weather outside.

Reasonably dark and quiet room.

But most important of all - Clear my mind of all shit I have been thinking throughout the day. Slow down my heartbeat and I can be asleep in 10 seconds 90% of the time.

Fav sleeping position is like lying in a coffin. I find it easier to relax. None of my major organs get compressed which happens when I lay on my side.

Kurty bro, hope these might help you to a more restful sleep.

not advisable to bath and go to bed.

always bath early, otherwise high chance for rheumatism.

clearing of mind is the part that I lack of.. I always think a lot.. its not about work.. can be anything.. from cars, to soccer, to toto..

Think your problem is you cannot relax yourself. Think too much also means worry too much. And worry too much can link to fear, and fear could link to anxiety and stress. So if all these feelings in your brain and body, confirmed cannot sleep.

i'm a total wreck without enough sleep.

ya me too....blood shot eyes, feeling drowsy, lousy! Thats why nowadays i try not to go back late during the weekdays! There was once in my life i only had 1-2 hrs of sleep every night for nearly a year. Reach home talked to friends, go back home at 4am, sleep then head for class at 6am and the cycle repeat. Weekends was for clubbing and seldom at home on Saturdays. Fun times!
