I think the problem is that Chin seems erratic. When he is in a good mood or if you two hit it off, he is the best mechanic in the world. When he is in a bad mood, he is a headache to deal with.

Problem is, as busy working people, who has time and patience to roll the dice and hope to catch Chin on a good day?

Why need to put up with his mood? Just go to another workshop

Hi all reviving an old thread. Have observed many feedback that they didn't have a good experience with Chin Auto and decided to seek a second opinion. In the end got the car fixed at a much cheaper price but it seems that no one is sharing the workshops that provided the second opinions.

Care to share this information to benefit us as Lexus owners please?

Personally i own a used RX270 and i observed that there's some squeaking / rattling sound coming from the rear seats and the sound will go off if there are rear passengers. Tried all methods that can be found online but to no avail. Also observed that there's vibration in the cabin and steering wheel during idling so suspect that it's engine mounting issue. Wanted to seek advice from fellow Lexus owners who managed to resolve their respective issues at another workshop apart from Chin Auto to determine the issues in my vehicle.

Thanks all

Lexus cars and Toyota cars are mechanically identical.

Due to their huge market share and simplicity, basically ANY workshop in SG is very likely to be able to handle.

Just go to any workshop you deem fit.

Send back to Borneo motors. If things irritate you so much. No such things as cheap and good to fix intermittent issues.
