New account making random broad comments to deter potential buyers.  My nose says it's a salesman from a competitor   [:p]

I have a particular aversion to campaigns that try to lay a bad light on the competition, rather than compete on their own merits.  The Microsoft Scroogled campaign comes to mind as a particularly good example of how this can backfire.

Need some assistance.

Can I enquire .. those of you who bought a PI Prius... is it possible to change the dash language from Japanese to English? One of the PIs I spoke to said this cannot be done. Others say it is possible.

Thanks!

I bought mine with English dash, configured by the PI. I probably wouldn't buy from one who cannot do so, and who probably would not be able to support the warranty and service requirements.

Hi. I m going to be a Prius owner. However the PI I bought from is unable to convert the Japanese dashboard display to English. Nostalgia or anyone has contacts to do that and how much would that cost?

I think you guys are Prius owners for at least 2 years now.

Wanna share your experience? Are you still getting that fuel economy?

We have people on the Prius Whatsapp group going for 50K service...   At 30K mine is still showing the same FC as before.  Reported FC range from the worst at around 24 km/L (mine since I do don't go much on expressways and am right foot heavy) and some at close to 30 km/L with high expressway percentage.

Factors affecting FC are mostly owner-related - heavy right foot, upsized rims, tyre selection.

I have the Type A with full Safety Sense P (radar cruise control and driver assists), HUD, blind spot monitor, auto park, etc.  The platform is stable and comfortable, shared with the new Camry and CHR etc.  More nifty than expected despite the hybrid focus. No regrets.

Hi guys, new PI Prius 1.8A S owner, just hit 1000km with 23.3km/L going under 80km/h (hope this gets better after 1st servicing). Mostly city driving with a bit of highway (70:30). Think I got the hypermile, but definitely my score isn't good for the acceleration (I love flooring to accelerate).

(Need advice!) I'm having problems locating the ISOFIX or Latch system to put baby seat. My wife is due soon, and I still haven't gotten around this. The manual offers no help because my seats don't have tags. At first I thought it was because it is a PI car, but Prius has been using ISOFIX since 2006 apparently. The video link below shows how easy it is, but I can't acess the velcro part at all.

Could it be the leather wrap that is hindering me from finding the ISOFIX? Any advice guys? Thanks a lot!
