You want to change car seat? You intend to renew your car coe?

yeah.. both..

what to do.. need to 'rent' for another 10 years..

can't afford a new car nor a better car.. just pay the pqp (56K as of now) and ride for the next 10 years..

maintenance and road tax is cheap for mine.

silver and brown looks ok.... previously I enquired 1 Volvo, he gave me recommendation on where he did his car seat... I see I can find anot

If your car still in super condition, renew coe is a good choice.

yeah, its in good condition.

only fail me once due to a flat battery, lucky its a manual and i'm on a slope, hence self jump start.

can't expect much, its a good mode of transport.

just kinda small, 1.1cc

upon renewal, need to redo the engine (leaking), seats, headlight, new paint.

But all doable under SGD2K

imagine malaysia is only going for RM6k while i am paying SGD60k, to drive for 10 years..

heart pain  :TT_TT:

brown indeed looks good, just a little uncle but should be good as i'm in late 30s, belong to this category.

Most important, it must make my life easy.. nowadays, i only wash my car every 1-2 months time..

I going to do it in malaysia, they have the instant cover for mine, plug and play. (low budget) [:p]

Lexus%20IS250%20(33)-500x500.JPGthe brown on black or grey, sure looks good and unique.

Suzuki%20Alto%20(1)-500x500.JPG Grey also look simple

Mitsubishi%20Lancer%20(29)-500x500.JPG the sexy red

Thinking of changing my car seat which I had been using for the last 10 years.

It's fabric but really good on hot day

Tried pu but don't really like, quality is poor after a few years and tend to glade during corner.

This time round, thinking of going semi leather, cow hide.

Realized there's many colors to go for, from grey to red, brown, blue, purple etc..

I'm a lazy person who don't maintain my car.. which is the best color that maintainence free?

Actually I'm comtemplating between black and red. Red sure looks posh but I'm only driving a small car...

As for black, I fear it's difficult to maintain

Just choose any colors but light colors .... light will become dark and dirty the moment we sit on it ...

if you only want for the looks then plug and play is fine... but considering that you gonna drive the car another 10years... I think to redo a real and good leather seat is worth the money... some things crimp and save but don't enjoy not worth it...

Turbocharged

Dark brown/dark gray is the best for low maintenance. Beige/cream looks nice and makes the cabin airy, but it gets dirty fast.

IMO if you want maximum maintenance free, synthetic leather/leatherettes are usually less fragile than actual cowhides, even if they don't feel as "fine".

I would go for a grey or dark brown leather in general, if car has grayscale or warm colors. If the car has a cool color like blue, I would go for dark blue seats!

Alternatively, go for two-tone. I think black + light grey or black+red are also fine combinations. Make the central portions that get rubbed most black, for example

So it was yours, no wonder so nice and clean.

how was the maintenance and review for hot day?

Get dirty easily?

anyway this is the color code

Design wise, only left and right to choose from. I'm thinking of 'dots', just worry that dust might steep in

no lar.. pic not mine.. from google...

I find maintenance not much issue... my kids sometimes step on seat with shoes on but no marks or stains on the seats

hot day... I find ok....at least I never notice anything bad....

but I believe the quality of the leather makes a difference too... if I not wrong, mine should be nappa leather...

the pic you show is semi leather? so means seats will be covered in half leather or the material is only partial leather?

dots I think better not... sure collect dust de

the seller didn't say much, just say cow hide.

yes, sitting area will be cow hide while the side and back, is artificial.

actually, the dots depth is not that deep. Can really consider for a trendy look

waiting for his reply to see if he got brown color code
