Damn. That is one big idiot.

 

Even with a camera, our cock up rules will probably dictate you fail to keep a proper lookout or try to nap you on exceeding the speed limit of 50km/hr.

Looks like he stopped because his turn incorrect and point him at the middle divider kerb. i.e. if he continue going he will bang into the divider.

 

But still very silly ... why not go on to the pavement and wait for traffic light??

Luckily there is no car on your left! If not even you avoided the cyclist, you might have bang onto other car.

And cyclist just cycle away pretends nth happen while TS need to pay his insurance premium

Hee...I all flame ready ...so some thoughts

 

1. Good reactions on OP part

2. Look like speeding a little (although mitigating that traffic was light) 

3. Nice to see good actions and no anger

4. From far when I see bike turn like that I would have been off the gas and covering brake oreddy (maybe) 

5. I think bike auditioning for Darwin award

6. Is a good reminder that there are dumb people on the road and we need to treat them all as though they are dumb if don't want an accident
