I took hitch on my OPC and only in Jan 2019 converted to normal plate

Cause i never take OPC on grabhitch before, dont know allowed or not. But OPC can registered as private hire car?

Hitch are privately owned cars, not private hired vehicles.

 

For an OPC to convert to PHV, they will need to convert to a normal plate as commercial or PHV insurance only covers those. Commercial insurance is not cheap.

Commercial insurance expect you to be on the road much more longer 8 hrs or more daily, so the risk is much higher.

 

Hence, higher premium.

Mine is after few hours still can take 3rd ride ..

Just trying to find out the truth ..some of us that received the ‘hitch limit reached’, is it that they exceed the limit and was warn before ....???

For the record ..i always take only 2 rides at most.
