LoL... Revenge on a cab driver? Highly unlikely. But can tell the murderer had it planned to silence the cabby after robbing him if it's a robbery. So many cases of similar robbery. Go LCK to rob the cabby and kill him. Taxis are an easier target. Silencing the driver means nobody will recognize the killer. But the killer will have to take a bus home or take another cab. Surely bus driver or another cabby will recognize him.
