yes Runflat tire allows you to continue driving for 85km at MAX 80km/h (with Zero pressure)

But the longer you drag your tire will likely further damages and made it beyond repair. :a-noway:

To Save your Punctured Runflat try to fill the Air as soon as your can (best is over inflate may be 20% higher) allow the pressure sustain longer to prevent further damaged to your Punctured tires.

And also Request Internal repair (patch or Patch & plug) BEST :a-m1212: (only method recognized by Most tire manufacturers).

TIres are the only 4 contacts between Road and You . [drivingcar]

NOT SURE whats the charges .

I am pretty sure most don't practice internal patching.

I am not sure who does that , you got to ask around from Friend ,

otherwise drop by any shop BUT ask before you allow them to remove your punctured wheel.

Trust me Best way is internal

Bro @Roberttan,

Always appreciate your advice on tires at MCF.

Do you think it is still safe to use tires manufactured in 2015 that have travelled 10,000 km only?

Thread looks new but I can’t tell if the compound has deteriorated or hardened.

Would be happy to go to my usual tire shop for a check, but afraid will be the usual “you never ask your barber if you should have a haircut”.

Thanks.

thanks for your compliment.

Base on the Number 2015 you are safe to use them till 2020 Officially from MNC tire Manufacturers.

T&C applied .

It has to be Good Quality tires

It has to maintain periodically like (rotation , pressured)

Professionally  Repaired (internal repaired only) ( FYI once tire is repaired your tire warranty stop).

Must be correct or recommended tire size and TYPE.

just MHO
