What would you do if your car model is used as a taxi in SG?

I think it is great to own a model that is used as a taxi in SG

 

As long as they are running around the street, spares and workshops which can fix them are never an issue

I also think its a great idea in terms of cost efficiency.

 

The thing is, does the majority think the same way?

You cannot beat them ... Join them la .... I'm sure you can find majority of make/models used by uber & grabcars .....

Make sure the colour of the car is not the usual tax colours (i.e. blue, yellow, red). White and black sld be ok. If not ppl will try to flag you down.

Last car show at suntec. I walked pass the elantra show car. Few ppl shown interest in it n I heard someone around me said neh this one taxi lor. Haha.

But i noe many pple bought elantra including my friend. To each of his own.

I believe LTA imposed a new regulation that all taxis from the same company must have the same colour in its livery, other than premium taxis. So SMRT repainted all its silver Azeras and beige Stavics to maroon and white respectively, and all Prime taxis are now orange.

 

That reduces the chances of buying a car that subsequently becomes a taxi colour.

 

But how come ComfortDelgro, now operating under one brand, can still have blue and yellow?
