Picnic06-Biante15 Supersonic April 1, 2016 Share April 1, 2016 1. Petrol cards - I leave in car 2. ATM Card - I only keep my main one and it is also one of my credit cards (POSB everyday) 3. Credit cards - keep 1 or 2 for outside spend and dining. Those with online discounts, I keep at home. 4. Extra cashcard - my wife keep 5. Ez-link card - these days can combine with your ATM/CC. You really wanna spend 30 minutes trying to convince the store clerk they can use this to swipe? That's why I carry a 'clutch' bag which contain all the cards. Major cards are kept in my wallet... ↡ Advertisement

If I am not wrong, as long as the back of the generation of iphone is non-metal (ie. Glass or plastic back) that allows radiowaves to be transmitted, it should work. So those who keep upgrade phone from telco every 1 or 2 years should have already had the Sim card that support NFC. So that is what it meant by NFC sim card as previously the Sim card do not support NFC. Based on the news article, Apple restricting it used on NFC to Apple pay only. That is the news article in 2016. So maybe by now things had changed. But can't find any more information on that. So if things still the same, that explain why iPhone can't tap as ez link card through NFC. Edited September 17, 2019 by Yewheng
Albeniz Turbocharged November 25, 2022 Share November 25, 2022 I am quite backward. Still using credit card pay wave to make payment. Anyone here using the NFC phone for making payments? I guess another of its good use is for topping up Touch n Go card.
Jellandross Supersonic November 25, 2022 Share November 25, 2022 Been using phone NFC as paywave for years just need to add credit card into the app will do. Definitely more convenient than fumbling for credit cards in the wallet especially when hands are full. Only thing to take note is to set payment that requires screen unlock which I feel is more secured.
