How come? Cause they couldn't help Chery take off in Singapore?

if it was cnc or sime darby kind of group, it would definitely give more assurance.

Hypersonic

Agreed.

Look at what Wearnes is doing to Infinti. Seems to be doing OK.

The AD is important.

Agreed. AD is key to the success. Look at what C&C did for Kia, Trans did for mazda. And how Ford is struggling in sg tho they hv a good product.

Definitely not a joke. Drove past Vertex Ubi today and saw a huge SEAT Service Centre logo.

The question is how long will it survive, will it be like Skoda?

Brand awareness esp in "branded sg" is vital. Not sure a small outfit like vertex has the financial muscle to do it.

Asked a few of my younger colleagues who were prob still in skool when SEAT was in sg in the 90s and they all said neber heard of this brand.

Told them it's a VW under the skin n they said liddat might as well buy the original.

They do hv a point actually....

Older time not so problematic....now is just a 'Re-badged" VW,may suffered from the same DSG failure..

if u referring to Cupra R, then it should be relatively trouble free.

Do a search on the UK forum.

Quite a good deal of information there.

If I see correctly, should be 280

Replica of tiguan. If price lower, probably they will, you get more for less. Then, you will sell lower too should you need to dispose off before 10 yr.

There's no 280 model in the lineup ... Only 290
