She was delivering a cake to her friend, but forget to bring inhaler. Then suddenly had a asthma attack after parking her car and dies. RIP. Happened at Tampines St 42 this morning. A passerby called the police after noticing the  car had its engine on for  a few hours and the lady driver slumped over the steering wheel

Close friends and relatives of Alan Tang, who was known to be physically fit, have expressed shock that he passed away in his sleep.

They speculated that it could be due to over-exhaustion.

Chinese newspaper Lianhe Wanbao reported Hong Kong media as saying that Tang, 64-years-old, had focused on operating a casino business with Macau's gambling tycoons, Stanley Ho being one of them.

He travelled frequently between Macau, Philippines and Hong Kong.

According to Lianhe Wanbao, Tang had been working on expanding a casino and was also planning a dog exhibition concurrently.

No time for doctors

Lianhe Wanbao also reported that Tang had insisted on managing both the casino and the dog exhibition despite his busy schedule.

He liked to handle things personally and carried on working despite having health problems. He did not have time to see a doctor and is believed to have died in his sleep due to over-exhaustion.

What happened

Alan Tang is believed to have passed away in his sleep in the afternoon.

Lianhe Wanbao said he had told his maid that he wanted to take a nap and that she was to wake him up in the evening because he wanted to have dinner with his mother.

The maid only discovered that he was unconscious after he did not answer her knocks on the door.

Other sources said that he had chest pains while preparing to attend social function. He was then sent to hospital.

Turbocharged

So sad.

She just had to pull the door handle, fallen out and help would've come.

So sudden...maybe its heart attack? Asthma still got time.

Btw is that a vezel?

The trigger varies...

I often have to remind my wife to check if she has the inhaler readily available.

Even with that is no guaranty. She had an attack during a family gathering...luckily there's a doctor in the house...

RIP .....

Wondering what good is a doctor when asthma attacks, unless he has the required equipment or medication with him.

Spot on. That said doc was also asthmatic. Had the necessary medication...

It is extremely sad that at this day and age that there are people dying from asthma. Obviously, many do not realised the potential of death threatening attacks that can occur at anytime. Many asthma sufferers make small of the matter just like people with serious food allergies. Please be very vigilant especially if you have family members with asthma.

In this lady case, not sure if the inhaler would help to prevent a flu blown asthma attack or at least buy time for her to call for help.

Early warning signs of an asthma attack may include:

The severity of an asthma attack can escalate rapidly, so it's important to treat these symptoms immediately once you recognize them.

Lady died in her car last night. Only discovered by a resident this morning who noticed the car engine was on throughout the entire night and the lady did not move her body and remained in the same position.

Asthma attack and heart attack can be very deadly and fast even you have no time to react or seek for help. Sometimes really when it is time for you to go, you have to go...

Anyway, RIP.

Anyway, RIP.

Both illness are classify as "Silent Killer".

The victim doesn't aware when it comes, might get caught in a situation without medical rescue facilities available.
