I don't know why people buy expensive mattress.

I went to Japan and they don't even have beds.

I had to sleep on the floor and I was perfectly happy.

I went out with the wife during the day and when I came back

a young lady that looked like this was making the bed on the floor.

I wished she would help tug me in at night too.

Go to Ikea and look at the pocket spring mattress. 25 yrs warranty.

But I only bought the cheap spring mattress, still got 25 yr warranty. [:p]

However, remember that Europeans are "taller", so ikea bed length is slightly longer at 200 cm,. just need to buy their bedsheet with corresponding length.

Aiyo, car owners rush to a car showroom when the COE drops to $30k with smiling face for a new car that they only driving for 2-3 hours each day and last them for only 10 years. Comparing to a quality bed that they sleep for 7 hours each day and bring smiling face to his love wife for probably 10% of the COE price in july. 🙂

My best bed was a water bed.

Actually never heard of water bed before...is a single bed also nearing a thousand dollars?

Seems complicated to me..heard that theres a compressor and air con inside the bed.

Actually thought of a diesel bed, i.e. fill the bed with diesel. Nobody will drown in water then. 😄

Popular in the late 70 to 80s...maybe Radx learnt his "swimming" in it at one of geylang "pools"

Hmm... 3 pillows... 3P with one as coach the other as lifeguard 😁

I like this idea.

I suggest...

A threesome with @Jamesc , his MIL and wifey and @RadX can be the judge of the "rocking" competition.

@RadX can supply a vibrator for the bed.

I went with Sealy a year ago, very happy with it.

Isolates well enough that even my 90+kg tossing and turning does not disturb wifey. We both have back injuries and sleep/wake up better with the Sealy compared to previous mattresses, although that might be just because we hit the right spot in terms of comfort and support.
